The Saints then hosted the NFC Championship game for the first time and advance to their first Super Bowl with a 31-28 overtime victory over the Minnesota Vikings on January 24，2010. New Orleans then defeated the Indianapolis Colts, 31-17, on February 7, 2010, in Super Bowl XLIV at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida to give the Saints their firstever NFL title.
